How to cut a block of stone

This movie shows an ancient stone cutting facility in Burgsvik, on Sudret, Gotland. Water is poring over the machine constantly, and it needs no supervision. My estimation is that it takes a day or two to slice the stone, which than has to be polished. The machinery is very old, rusty and steampunk, if you are in to that.
