The Bluespoon AX has arrived! Lots of photos!

Today I got the nextlink Bluespoon AX bluetooth headset. It is still charging, but the first images are here.

DHL delivers the Bluespoon AX today...

Today I got a call from DHL who said they will deliver a package from Denmark! Wonder what it could be... :-)

The other day I got a confirmation email that pilcon had shipped my order but I never managed to trace the package ID on the web. However, it was really fast. It shipped friday the 16th and arrived yesterday, monday the 20th in sweden. Unfortunatley I could not pick it up, so I will get it today, tuesday the 21th. Im really looking forward to testing it, and i will post images and a review here as soon as possible.

PILCON IS SHIPPING!

Today Pilcon anounced on their webpage they are shipping the
Bluespoon AX wireless headset! At the latest today, thursday the 16th they will leave Denmark, which means i should have one in next week!

UPDATE 2004-12-16:
Pilcon have updated their webpage and shipment will start today, and all units will be sent at the latest on monday 20th. Hopefully I will still have one before Xmas.

Ok, this is another test of MarsEdit. It did not work and gave a java.langNullsomething-error, which might have been because the password to the FTP site was not set in bloggers prefs. I have changed that, and will try again. I got the tip from one of the writers in the MarsEdit FAQ.

MarsEdit dont support Blogger titles:(

This is a simple test of the MarsEdit weblog poster. It is shareware and i will try it for 30 days before i buy.

UPDATE (2) 2004-12-11
Shonuff, it might be possible to publish to own ftp-acounts even via MarsEdit, and blogger. A source on MarsEdits FAQ says you have to fill out both you ftp-login and password in your blogger prefs. Sounds fair, but how safe? I will test it and post the results in a 3d update.

It seems as if MarsEdit dont support Blogger acounts with own FTP-hosting, nor does it support the Blogger title-field. To bad, untill it does, I wont be using it. I COULD of course let Blogspot host my blog, but I dont care much for the Blogger-bar that appears on top of their hosted blogs. Sorry.

New bluetooth headset pre-ordered!

Today i have orderd a new bluetooth headset for my Sony Ericsson Z600, it must be one of the smallest in the world! I finally found a reseller of the Nextlink products really close to me (that is, not the other side of the world). Tests say it has great sound quality and standbytime, as well as fitting and looks. They are supposed to start shipping in beginning of decmber. Hopefully i will get it before the hollidays.

The Nextlink AX is a fantastic picece of work. Meassuring only 40 mm and weighing in at just 10g, you hardly wont noteice wearing it. It uses a rechargable NiCa-cell, which can be replaced by the user. You charge it via a mini-usb cable, and a neck-strap is included. Check out more here.
