Bad sound in replacement AX?

This story never seems to end, but now I get the impression that the sound quality of my "new" Bluespoon AX is notacibly worse then the one i sent in for repair.

As you can reed on this blog I recently sent back my AX because of a broken housing, and got a completly new one in return. I can tell because it has print on the inside, a details not included in the first one. Although I begin to wonder it it not as new as I first thought. Maybe Nextlink sends out earlier versions when they have to replace headsets. People I have talked with on the phone says it sounds as if I am in a tin can, and even I can tell the sound is lower and not as good as in the first one. This might be a coincidence, but it sure makes you wonder. I also have noticed a sort of a clicking noice from the main button when wearing the earpiece. It is not as fitted as the onld one, and shakes a bit when moving the head. I dont think it will fall of, but it is a bit anoying. I am not going to send it in once more, it took me weeks to get it back the first time, but it is a bit strange if a supported AX is actually worse than the working one I sent in.

New AX from Nextlink support

I sent the AX back to Nextlink a couple of weeks ago becouse the housing broke. The piece still worked, but the buttons kept falling of and you could not close the housing. I put the AX in a padded envelope and attached a suport form that can be downloaded from their homepage, but i never heard from them.

After a while i emaild pilcon that sells the AX. They put me in contact with Nextlink and I found out that they sent me the AX 2 weeks ago, but it was stuck by DHL. Once this issue was solved and DHL got the correct address i got the package. They sent me a completley new one, which was nice. I find the sound-quality to be porer though, but I am not sure if that is the case. However I am glad to have my hands free again. The new AX came in a different box, more like a jewelbox, and i guess that is what the use when they dont have to send new straps, ear pieces etc. There is another differance as well, this piece has small print on the side facing the head. It says AX by the usb-port and Bluespoon by the fron mic.

This is a link to the bluespoon homepage.
