As i mentioned earlier, I paid a visit to lovely Joanna and Oivvio a while back, and just wanted to share a chair they have. Its designed by her father in the 80s, and this one they actually found brand new in original packaging and all, and put together themselves. its muy cool.

This may very well be a historic post. For real. During the 80s, my friend, amateur scientist Fred Pihl traveled to USA to find out more about "field engines". Last year (2006) Steorn Ltd presented the world with its "free energy", called Orbo.

Steorn stated that, by free, they mean that "the energy produced is done so without recourse to external sources". By clean they mean that "during operation the technology produces no emissions." By constant, they mean that "with the exception of mechanical failure the technology will continue to operate indefinitely"

The principle of conservation of energy is a fundamental law of physics which forms the basis of the first law of thermodynamics. If it operates as claimed, Steorn's device would therefore be a perpetual motion machine of the first kind. Given the long history of hoaxes and measurement errors involving such perpetual motion devices, claims of this sort have hitherto been met with skepticism from the scientific community.

I am a genius, i know! (Or, how to keep your coffee hot)

This is my desk. My things, and my coffee. Global warming global schwarming! Use that extra heat to something good. This way i dont need a micro, and i can sip my coffee for hours. Keeps a steady 37-40 degrees C.

Rufus is coming to town!

Without Cis I probably would have missed this one just like i missed BB, Ane and Adem yesterday, but now I'm booked. On STHLMs second best venue too! row 13, but damn it, Cis is on row 4!

BTW, is it only me who cannot always tell if its Rufus or Ron?
