I have written before about logo-plicates, but now its getting nasty. These are the logos of the Swedish man-care web shop Manolo, and Mozillas attempt of a Windows Mobile web browser.

This weeks Tuesday theme is Missing, and since "Ganesh" or "Ganesha" means missing, I wanted to share this image. Also, I am off to NY, so I will also be missing for a good week. Reports on the blog of course.

5 dl vetemjöl
3 dl rågsikt
2 dl grahamsmjöl
0.5 dl vetegroddar
1 dl vetekli
2.5 dl rågkross
4 tsk bikarbonat
1 tsk salt
1 liter lättfil
1.5 dl sirap

1. Blanda alla torra ingredienser.
2. Rör ner filmjölk och sirap.
3. Fördela i 2 st smorda 1.5 liters formar
4. Grädda i 100 minuter 175 graders värme.

How do these things happen?

You think that we are surrounded by autoactivated control systems and surveillance mechanisms to prevent mistakes like this to ever occur, but oh no, rest assured, if we leave th human brain behind shit is going to hit the fan.

Apropos Gert Fylking

Gert Fylking vill skänka 10 kr till cancerfoden för varje person som visar brösten på Medborgarplatsen. 5 kr per bröst. Så här bra sammanfattar signaturen "Ellie" det hela på Dagens Medias webplats:

"Bra idé Gert. Nästa gång det är Världens barn insamling så kan ju alla som visar upp ett fattigt barn på medborgarplatsen generera 10 kr. Eller, alla män får visa upp sin petterniklas i förmån för Prostatacancer-galan. Eller ännu bättre, när det är insamling för att stoppa urkorkade, sexistiska män, ja då kan ju Gert visa upp sig på Medborgarplatsen!"

Xanadu, 30 years later...

A really fantastic piece of 80s memorabilia, is the movie, and song, Xanadu, with Olivia Newton John as one of the Ancient Greece's 9 muses. She comes alive from a graffiti mural on Venice Beach(!), and her mission is to convince an L.A teenager to open a roller-dico(!!). The above image shows what happens when you turn it into a Broadway musical. You be the judge.

Finally! Passive FTP active again!

Surftown, the ISP of mute.se, is Smurftown! For almost a week(!) i have tried to contact surftowns support, since i wasn't able to publish or access my files anymore. All responses from the support was from different people and useless (change to passive ftp, check your settings etc), when it was obvious THEY had changed THEIR settings. Since blogger don't support active ftp, i had no means of publishing to my server, and I had to point out to the support myself that this was the problem. They just claimed everything was OK.

Well, i guess you get what you pay for. Surftown is cheap, and so is their support.

Rah Band: Clouds across the moon

One of the best, if not *the* best song, from the 80s. A one hit wonder by the RAH Band, which is actually just an abbreviation for Richard Anthony Hewson, and in this song he features his wife. Actually the RAH band had a previous, instrumental, hit, but thats another story.

Basically this song is about an intergalactical guy in orbit around Mars, who cheats on his wife who is back on earth.
